Work completed on new £6m teaching block for Odiham secondary school

Morgan Sindall Construction has completed work on a £6 million expansion to Robert May’s School in Odiham, Hampshire.

The major expansion programme was delivered via the SCF (Southern Construction Framework).
It was completed on time and on budget for Hampshire County Council and was designed by the County Council’s Property Services team.

The new block has increased the secondary school’s capacity by 150 places to 1,350 pupils.

Facilities

  • six new teaching rooms - a new library, refurbished into a ‘super lab’ for scientific, technical, digital, engineering and practical learning, with the expansion of a dining area. 

  • reception area

  • office space

  • a complete remodelling of the front entrance to the school, creating additional parking spaces and a new coach loop.
